The 7th International BCI Meeting Student Support Committee will consider applications for a limited number of student scholarships to cover the cost of meeting registration and housing.
Please note that the Student Awards are pending confirmation of funding. The number of scholarships awarded and amounts granted might vary according to the level of funding. Regardless, we ask that you apply for a Student Award at the time of abstract submission.
To be considered, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or be engaged in postdoctoral studies. Preference will be given to applicants who have not received a scholarship to attend the BCI Meeting in previous years.
To be considered:
- Please indicate so when you submit your abstract on the Abstract Submission site
- Be a student member of the BCI Society in good standing
- Provide a proof of student status
The applications will close at 11:59 pm, January 15, 2018, EDT-USA. Decisions will be made by March 1, 2018 with notifications to follow.
*Funds will cover the cost of registration as well as room and board at the meeting venue.
*Please note that the funds will NOT cover your travel expenses such as air fare, train fare, shuttles from the airport, etc. You are responsible for those expenses.
*Also, the funds cover the cost of housing in a 4-student-per-room room. If you choose a different type of accommodation (such as a single room), you will be responsible to pay for the price difference.
