We are looking for a PhD student with a Background in BCI-research:

1 open position of a University Assistant for 4 years, 40 hours/week, expected from 1st of February 2020, at the Institute of Neural Engineering.

Admission requirements: Master degree in Information & Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable studies.

Desired qualifications: Experience in biosignal processing, feature extraction and pattern recognition; knowledge of source localization based on multi-channel EEG derivatives; experience in the field of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI); very good knowledge of English and team skills; knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems; interest in a doing a PhD. Collaboration in teaching. Willingness to mobility (work in international projects, conferences, etc.).

Salary classification: B 1 according to collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this position is currently € 2,864,50 gross (14 times per year).
