In collaboration with Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, (IF: 3.473 / CiteScore: 4.6) Farzan M. Noori and Md Zia Uddin are editing a new article collection (Research Topic) titled: “Emerging Talents in Human Neuroscience: Brain-Computer Interfaces 2022”.

The aim of the Research Topic is to bring together the latest quality articles from researchers working in the area of biomedical sensors for the monitoring of physiological parameters within the human body, focused on providing a healthcare system to improve the quality of life and mobility of patients and the elderly. This issue will focus on state-of-the-art pre-processing, feature extraction & selection and classification techniques to improve the performance of healthcare systems. In this research topic, we aim to attract researchers who are interested in the application of signal processing methods to different biomedical signals, such as functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), electroencephalography (EEG), electromyogram(EMG), electrocardiogram(ECG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). All research will be published Open Access, with the potential of being curated into an ebook format.
