Student Awards and Diversity Scholarship

Diversity Scholarship

The BCI Society aims to support conference participation from a diverse group of members and attendees.  Therefore, we welcome applications for complementary vBCI registration from:

  • Individuals from racial and ethnic groups that have been underrepresented in the health sciences and engineering.  Based on NIH Guidelines this includes Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, American Indians or Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians or other Pacific Islanders, or another group that can be demonstrated to be underrepresented in biomedical research.  (Please provide documentation if not included in the list above.)
  • Individuals with disabilities, which are defined as physical or mental impairments that substantially limit one or more major life activities

Awards may be limited and are subject to availability of funds.
