Student Awards

Student Travel Awards

During the abstract submission process, we invite students to apply for Travel Awards. These awards will be reviewed by the Young Talent Committee and will be allocated based on the scientific merit of the abstract submitted.

The number of Travel Awards awarded, and amounts granted might vary according to the level of funding.

To be considered, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or be engaged in postdoctoral studies. Preference will be given to applicants who have not received a scholarship to attend the BCI Meeting in previous years.

How to Apply

Applicants must be members in good standing and submit an abstract through the normal abstract submission process.

Applicants must indicate that they are applying to a Student Award in the abstract submission form.

Applicants are required to upload a one-page letter from their supervisor as supplemental information.  That support letter must state why attendance can not be funded otherwise.

Please ensure to name the PDF document using the format: FirstName_LastName_TravelAwards.pdf
