Travel Awards
Student and Post-doc Travel Awards
During the abstract submission process, we invite students to apply for Travel Awards. These awards will be reviewed by the Young Talent Committee and will be allocated based on the scientific merit of the abstract submitted with additional considerations to ensure a diverse cohort of awardees.
The number of Travel Awards awarded, and amounts granted might vary according to the level of funding.
To be considered, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or be engaged in postdoctoral studies, within five years of their terminal degree. Preference will be given to applicants who have not received a scholarship to attend the BCI Meeting in previous years.
How to Apply
Applicants must be BCI members in good standing and submit an abstract through the regular abstract submission process.
Applicants must indicate that they are applying for a Student Award within the abstract submission form and submit proof of studentship. Please ensure to name the PDF document as follows: “TravelAward.FirstName.LastName”
(e.g. “TravelAward.Bob.Sacamano”)
Applications open: November 7, 2024
